About Doug

Doug Jones and Company began with a 900-square-foot hair salon 30+ years ago in Fairlawn, Ohio, but slowly began to expand into interior design. Yes, he established a reputation as an extraordinary hair designer, but he always had a fascination for interior design.

Doug has bought and remodeled a whopping five personal residences and over the years has developed relationships with talented contractors, fabricators and designers. Guests at his legendary soirées would comment on his design skills and ask, “Hey, can you come take a look at my house?”

And Doug did, selecting furniture, fabrics, paint colors, etc. “It was a hobby, a passion, before it came a business,” he says.

Now he has moved to a 3,500-square-foot showroom on Shiawassee Avenue, in Fairlawn. It’s a design studio with a showroom; it’s a museum, a gift shop, a place to dream.

It’s a place to create a home.
